MPTCA 2016 has ended
Welcome to the online program for Mindful Learning 2016!
Once you have created an account please take the time to learn about the many great features of Sched, as well as how to change your privacy settings if needed: https://sched.org/support/guide/sign-up-for-an-event.
This online tool will allow you to create a schedule for the days you will be attending sessions at Convention. You can add multiple sessions for the same time slot so that you can keep your options open. Selecting a session does not guarantee you will have a seat in the room since most sessions are first come, first served. There are no waitlists either. Sessions that have the label POPULAR! have more people interested in attending the session than are seats in the room. Although Sched creates a waitlist, we do not use it since we do not check who is in every room. All rooms have a seat capacity that must be enforced due to fire regulations. Please read the session description for information about sessions that require pre-registration.
Your tentative schedule can be printed if you do not have a mobile device.
For important schedule and facility information check out the MAPS AND MORE tab below.

Video Conferencing to Inspire Outdoor Learning! LIMITED

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

This video conference is proposed as a session that will also incorporate a session scheduled concurrently with the NE Teachers Convention. Heidi will demonstrate easy technology that can connect with a click and a minute or so of instructions and will then go on to showcase video conferences presented by Alberta Parks staff that take students on a virtual tour of Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park, that take students on a journey into the grasslands natural region to discover their "Deep Roots" and connection to this diminishing landscape and that include students in the Northern Leopard Frog Reintroduction Project at Beauvais Lake Provincial Park. Its okay, video conferencing is fun, interactive and easy to do . . . really!
