MPTCA 2016 has ended
Welcome to the online program for Mindful Learning 2016!
Once you have created an account please take the time to learn about the many great features of Sched, as well as how to change your privacy settings if needed: https://sched.org/support/guide/sign-up-for-an-event.
This online tool will allow you to create a schedule for the days you will be attending sessions at Convention. You can add multiple sessions for the same time slot so that you can keep your options open. Selecting a session does not guarantee you will have a seat in the room since most sessions are first come, first served. There are no waitlists either. Sessions that have the label POPULAR! have more people interested in attending the session than are seats in the room. Although Sched creates a waitlist, we do not use it since we do not check who is in every room. All rooms have a seat capacity that must be enforced due to fire regulations. Please read the session description for information about sessions that require pre-registration.
Your tentative schedule can be printed if you do not have a mobile device.
For important schedule and facility information check out the MAPS AND MORE tab below.

Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Meditation has finally made its way to the forefront of mind-body medicine; nowadays, it is quite common for your family doctor to prescribe meditation for a variety of maladies, including high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain.
If you unsuccessfully tried meditation on your own, if it doesn't seem to work even with the help of books and apps, if it frustrates you to keep wandering in vicious mental circle, if you have taken meditation training and can't find the juice and the joy in your practice, I invite you to join me for a meditation class. This class is good for both beginner meditators and experienced folk. Receive introductory instructions; have your meditation-related questions – is this kind of meditation right for me? what’s the best posture? how long should I meditate for? why do I see color during meditation? - answered in easy to understand way and foster a practice that is deep, dynamic, and nurturing.
